Syllabus/achievement requirements (MEK3220 - Autumn 2013)

The curriculum of the course is comprised by the entire compendium, except for
- Chapter 9.5 "Longitudinalb?lger i elastisk stav".
- The derivation in exampe on the torsion-pendulum at page 73. This is replaced by problem 17 in the leaflet. (The rest of section 9.6 is part of the syllabus.)
- Chapter 9.7 "B?yning av bjelker".
- Detailed reproduction of the rheological models as discussed in items (i) through (iv) on pages 45-47 will not be required.
- The example starting on page 92 on viscous boundary layer along the hull of a speed boat.
- Section 11.5. The discussion of the maximum number of constants of elasticity in the last paragraph is not part of the syllabus.
- Section 11.8 and 11.9.
