The exam is confirmed on May 23rd in room 723 starting from 8:00. Some instructions about the exam format are given here. The topics for the presentation are sent individually by email according to the random selection ("choose 1,2,or 3"). Any person who is planning to take the exam, but has not selected the numbers is urged to get in contact with the lecturer.

VB is still closed. It seems up to the end of the week. You will receive emails with instructions.
We received news that the VB building is closed after a fire in the underground floor. The class on Monday will have to be kept fully digital. It seems that the building will be accessible again on February 2nd, so lectures will be again in the auditorium from Wednesday next week.
Prof Colin Ramsay, University of Nebraska-Liconln, USA is holding a mini course on "Pension Mathematics for Single Employer Defined Benefit (DB) Plans" in February (01.02.22-24.02.22). The course is strongly recommended to master and bachelor students in insurance and financial mathematics. Some background in insurance mathematics is welcome. See here for details on the program.

In view of the new opening possibility and revised guidelines, lectures on campus are open again. During the classes today, we have seen that all participants are positive and prefer on campus lectures. Then starting from the next lecture on Wednesday 19th January, we hold our classes on campus in our lecture hall (see schedule).
To facilitate the best participation, we all have to follow up the guidelines on prevention of infection spread. See here. In particular, do not show up to classes with any (also mild) symptoms and use mask in case of doubt or when distancing is reduced. In case you have troubles following classes, please take contact with the lecturer.

welcome to the course on Malliavin Calculus!
As you know, the start of the semester is still quite effected by Omicron and we are holding a careful attitude to prevent spreading. For this course, following the guidelines, we shall start with an online teaching for the first two weeks (lectures of January 17, 19, 24, 26). After this, we shall resume and evaluate other possibilities. We'll talk about this during lectures.
In practice at the start of the course the participants will receive a zoom link and the lectures will be streamed following the schedule give. No recording of the lectures will be available, but the slides at the end of the lectures will be uploaded (at the "Schedule" page).
When following the streamed lectures the camera of each participant will have to be kept on and the sound muted, to avoid extra noise. It is however encouraged the active participa...
