The lectures are now over, but you can, of course, also ask me questions (at any other time) in my office. You will find old exam problem-set following the link "oppgaver" on the homepage. I will recommend that you try to solve these problems. You will also find solutions for these sets posted on previous home pages for this course (some of the problem-sets and solutions are written in Norwegian). A remark on the final exam: The problem-set will be in English only, but you are free to answer in Norwegian.
On Monday November 25., I will start by explaining some applications of the Gauss Bonnet Theorem. Then I will solve the exam problems from 2012. Wednesday November 27. and Monday December 2. I will proceed with solving the exam problems from 2011 and 2010 (in that order).
In the second hour Wednesday November 6. I will look at the problems 5.1.4, 5.3.1 and 5.5.1.
The mandatory assignment has now been graded. You will find your paper in the designated shelves in the 7. floor. For those who have to turn in a corrected version a second time, the deadline for this is on Thursday November 7. 2.30 pm. I would appreciate if you turn in also the first version together with the improved second version.
In the second hour Wednesday October 30. I will look at the problems from section 2.9: problems 4,5 and 6.
Just a reminder; deadline for turning in the mandatory assignment is tomorrow 2.30 pm.

There was a misprint in the first version of the mandatory assignment
(In Problem 1 b) there was written √2 instead of √3). This misprint is now corrected.

The lectures wiil now take place at B 63 NHA (both Monday and Wednesday) First lecture in B 63 is on Monday August 26. Exempt from this are the lectures Monday September 16., Monday December 2. and Monday December 9. These three lectures will be at B 91.
