Information and advice about the final exam

For information about time and place for the final exam see the link;

"Examination : Time ans place". (Be aware that : " Hasle Tennissenter " is not located at campus.) The problem set is written in English but if you wish, you may write your solutions in Norwegian.  You may solve the problems in any order you prefer and you may use the results of an earlier subproblem to answer later questions, even if you have not answered the earlier one. 

In my opinion, the best way now to prepare, is to study and try to solve old exam problems and also to study the mandatory assignment. You will find links to old exam problems on the general course home page for MAT 3500 and MAT 4500. Be aware that the syllabus for the course were somewhat different before 2008. You will also find solutions for the years 2008-2013 on the MAT 4500 homepage for the actual year. I have also written a solution for the mandatory assignment (see message below)
