General information
There is one mandatory assignment in this course. Only students with an approved assignment are allowed to take the final exam. Please note that it is a requirement that your work is typeset using LaTeX if you are signed up for MAT4500. Students signed up for MAT3500 may submit handwritten work.

Deadline
The deadline for the assignment is found under Teaching - time and place
Second tries
Your mandatory assignment will be corrected within a week after the original deadline. The corrected assignment will be returned to the students in class, or may be collected on the 7th floor of the N.H. Abel building, next to where you submitted it. You may use the link at the bottom of this page to check if your assignment has been approved. If a mandatory assignment does not receive a passing grade, and the student has shown a real effort to complete the assignment, the student may be allowed to resubmit the assignment, within 14 days after the original deadline.
