Curriculum for the exam

What we have covered in the lectures, in the recommended textbooks roughly corresponds to

Sections 4.1-4.10, 5.2-5.4, 5.8, 5.10, 5.12-5.13 in [Etingof et al] and Sections 1.1-1.2, 3.1-3.3, 4, 5.1, 6.1-6.2, 7.1 in [Sepanski].

At the exam a good knowledge of the material up to (and including) conjugacy of Cartan subalgebras (Section 5.1.3 in [Sepanski]) is expected, meaning that you are able to give definitions, formulate and apply most of the results. For the remaining material a basic knowledge suffices, meaning that you are familiar with key concepts and results.
