Geir
I have posted a new version of the problems for the assignment which includes hints for the first problem.

There was a typo (!!) in the first exercise in mandatory assignment. New version on the web.
To those who found it: Thank's, and in fact, it was just the typo!! Not as serious as you thought.

I have rewritten the proof of Prop 5.20 (Adjointness) with significant simplifications. New version on web.
The rest is unchanged (except that a few minor misprints have been corrected)
Geir
We still have some exercises from Ch 4 to do.
New ones from Ch 5:
5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.8, 5.9, 5.10, 5.12, 5.13, 5.14, 5.15
Geir
Has posted a new version on the web-site.
Only chapter 4 has been changed---but the changes are several.
Since we now leave chapter 4 and move into the territory of tensor products, chapter 4 will probably not change much in the sequel
(Of course errors will be corrected and minor estical improvments might arrive).
Geir
The new exercises are:
4.22, 4.23, 4.24, 4.25, 4.26, 4.32, 4.33, 4.35, 4.36, 4.37, 4.38 and 4.39
all with reference to version 1.02 of ch 4.

The assignment will be handed out on Monday October 22.
