I noticed today that there was a significant drop in attendance after announcing that hand-written notes will be published. I hope that this was merely a coincidence and I will see how the situation develops next week. If attendance stays low, I will not continue putting up notes.

As I discussed in the course, the first homework is to read Section 2.1. Linear Algebra in the book by Nielsen and Chuang.
Until Thursday I would like you to have some questions that we will discuss in the lecture and until next week I want you to solve all the exercises in this section.
