solution to the mandatory assignment

I have corrected mistakes in solex10.pdf (solution set in exercises concerning calculus of variation) that were notified to me by some of you. If you find mistakes in the solution sets (or things you suspect to be mistakes without being sure), please let me know so that I could check and eventually correct them immediately.

In the mandatory assignement, in exercise 5-b), replace "on and below" by "on and above". This mistake is corrected in the updated version.

The exercises from EP that were planned for tomorrow will be covered next week. (They require the use of generalized eigenvectors and we are not done with this part).
