Formally the syllabus is:
Chapter 1 except Section 1.5
Chapter 2
Chapter 3 except section 3.7
Chapter 4 except section 4.11
Chapter 5.1-5.4 plus 5.5 up to and including Proposition 5.5.5.
Chapter 6.1-6.5 and 6.7.
Chapter 10.1-10.6
However, all isn't equally relevant: There will be no problems directly to the material in chapters 1 and 2, but you may need techniques from there to solve problems from later chapters. Also, there will be no problems on the material in sections 4.4, 4.7, and 4.9 as these sections are mainly on applications of the theory to other areas. Finally, as we have not had much time for the final sections, there will be no challenging problems from sections 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, and 6.7, but you may get problems on the level of the weekly problems.
