For those who want to read ahead the reference book, this is the plan up to Easter break.

We follow the numbering of the 7th edition of Fraleigh's "A first course" (the "plain" 7th edition and the "international" 7th edition are basically the same). If you want to use the 8th edition, here is the correspondence table up to part III:

Wednesday lectures will be exercise by tutor (Torger Olson). On 22 January, he will explain problems from Sections 1¨C4 of the reference book.
