At the exam the problem set will be available both in Norwegian and in English. You can write your solution to the exam in Norwegian, and use English terminology where you are not certain of the Norwegian one. You can also write your answer in English.

There will be a series of talks (in Norwegian) this semester presenting the different directions for a master study in mathematics at our department, see for details. First talk is on Friday, February 5.
It is possible to get help with concrete mathematical questions for this course by sending an e-mail to orakel"at"math.uio.no. Specify the course number MAT2200 in the subject of the e-mail.
