Mandatory assignment, MAT2000, spring 2011.

There are three goals of learning:

- Practice in systemizing and presenting your mathematical knowledge.

- Practice in Tex.

- Practice in oral communication of mathematics. 

ASSIGNMENT: Choose a theorem you find especially important and interesting.  Explain why, and give the mathematical background, proof, and applications of the theorem.  

The assignment should be written in LaTex, 11pt. and A4, and must contain references.  The assignment should be 2-3 pages long.
