The mandatory assignment can be downloaded at [link]. The assignment must be uploaded to Devilry. Deadline: Thursday 19. October.

The lecture on Monday (02.10) is cancelled.

From autumn 2017 all mandatory assignment must be uploaded to Devilry. 

• The assignment must be submitted as a single PDF file. 
• Scanned pages must be clearly legible. If these two requirements are not met, the assignment will not be assessed, but a new attempt may be given.
• The submission must contain your name, course and assignment number.

The student representative is Simon Foldvik. (simonfo[@]student.matnat.uio.no). Any comments or suggestions regarding the course (e.g., lectures, exercises, book, etc.) can be communicated to him.

Lectures on Monday 10:15-12:00 and Tuesday 08:15-10:00. The course starts Tuesday August 21 (VB Sem 123). I will give a short overview of the course and talk about "solution formulas for the transport equation" (Chap 2).
