Presentations for INF5071
Fall 2008
Presentation
Details
First and foremost, the presentations will be held on the 14th of November, 2008, with the first presentation starting at 09:00. As there are English speaking students in the class, the presentations will have to be held in English. For those working in pairs, you will have 30 minutes to present your topic (this should amount to approximately 15 minutes per. person), and for those working individually, you will be given 15 minutes. We expect the presentation to consist of slides (suitable tools are PowerPoint, PDF or similar). The content of the presentation should roughly touch on these points, preferably in this order (the slide counts are rough estimates):
One slide should suffice.
Two, maybe three slides.
For the number of slides, I do not want to say a specific number, but you should probably not spend more than 30 seconds to 1 minute per. slide, including the slides from the other parts of the presentation with a 15/30 minute time limit, well, you do the math.
One slide (or none).
One slide. After your presentation there will be a 5 minute session where those present will be able to ask questions and discuss your results. Tips
? Be prepared, practice on your presentation. ![endif]>![if> ? Have a minimal amount of text per. slide. You should be giving us the details, your slides should be presenting us with major points. ![endif]>![if> ? When feasible, illustrate a concept with a picture or similar, it softens up the presentation. ![endif]>![if> Additional
