Please remember that your first midterm is due Tuesday, February 28. The midterm consists of three things:

1. Register your project and group. The project work guidelines including 'how to choose a theme' can be found on the course description which is available through the course website. The project registration is done through course website following personal logon.

2. Give short answers to the eight midterm questions, available as all other assignments online after personal logon.

3. Make a copy of the course topic map and draw your personal itinerary on it, indicating what areas you want to 'visit' and what you want to learn. This is for your own record, to help you orient your project work.

After Tuesday we will expect that everyone has a group and a registered project and that you are all 'sailing' towards your destination. Good luck with project work!
