The assignment will be marked as pass/fail, together with detailed comments and corrections. Every parts of the assignments are important and require some time and attention. That means that partially submitted assignments with answers to only half of the exercises will be marked as ``fail''.
The assignment must be submitted individually, but you are of course free to collaborate with others, as long as everyone participates actively in the process.
INF5820 Part 1: Spoken Dialogue Systems
This part of the course will feature two assignments:
- The first assignment will include topics related to spoken dialogue, phonetics and probabilistic modelling.
- The second assignment will be more practical: you'll be asked to design, develop and test a small dialogue system for a small HRI (human-robot interaction) domain.
The submission of the assignment is due on September 26th, 23:59.
The deadline for submitting this assignment is October 21st, 23:59.
INF5820 Part 2: Machine translation
The obligatory assignment will consist in several smaller exercises, and will be published consecutively.
