One or more codec/file errors in BOR17. Please report problems with reading this file, and any others. NAD28 has significant artifacts in encoding. A windows media version of the latter has been uploaded.

Also, for the current configuration of Linux at IFI, Matlab should read the Theora format correctly, but some students report problems.
Use ffmpeg to transcode video can be done by the simple syntax (example for coding to Theora):
ffmpeg -i BOR03.mpg -vcodec libtheora -sameq -acodec libvorbis -ac 2 -sameq BOR03.ogg

Loading video using the ifi linux-terminals: the format is currently not supported in software. Files for the exercise encoded in Theora will be posted later today. Until then, use the file called theoratest.ogg for code development. (This file is not a part of the exercise dataset)
