Pensum list

The pensum consists of selected chapters of  the course book 'Sedra and Smith: Microelectronic Circuits', 7th international edition and a paper by E. Vittoz, as well as all lecture slides and everything presented in the lectures. Below is a list of books that are also useful material for the course. The chapters are announced in the lectures and will appear in the lecture schedule as the lecture progresses. Furthermore there will be a few additional articles as handed out and discussed in the lecture. Also those will be downloadable from the course schedule and materials link on the course page.

This year as we will be closer to the organization of 2016 than 2017, planning to cover content from chapters 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 15. In addition to what is covered by the book we shall discuss the relation between Bode-plots and the transfer function of a filter, as well as the EKV model for CMOS field effect transistors.
