Hey everyone! Crucial information about next week:
- Individual and group assignments: On October 16, you will deliver the individual and group assignments for module 2. These assignments will be submitted the same way as your assignments for module 1.
- Small note on the individual assignment: In the description of task 3, the request to consider optional literature (Skjuve et al., Bomassani et al., Elondou et al., Noy and Chang et al.) can be disregarded as this literature has not been discussed in the lectures.
- Design task: On October 17, each group will present the Module 2 design task. The description of the design task is given in the presentations from Module 2. For the design task, please note the following:
- In the design task you use AI support for designing a simple prototype AI system.
- The design ...
Hey everyone! Here’s some important information going forward:
- There is no lecture this friday
- Next module 2 session is 10. October
- Clarification on group assignment: In your group assignment, there is a requirement of an appendix. This means that in addition to the group assignment, each group will do a design task during Module 2 with steps presented in each lecture (check slides from Asbj?rn). The design task is to make an AI prototype relevant for your group assignment. The work with the design task is to be reported as a 1 page appendix to the group assignment. Also, each group will present their AI prototype at the last Module 2 lecture.
- Slides from 26. September is out

Hey everyone!
The peer review overview for Module 1 is now available. You can find the Excel sheet in the Peer Reviews folder under Module 1. The sheet has two tabs at the bottom: one for group reviews and one for individual reviews. Instructions for how to carry out the peer review are listed on the Peer Reviews page. Please note that the deadline for completing the Module 1 peer review is 25/09/2025.
The assignments for Module 2 have also been published, so feel free to take a look at those already.
Finally, as Asbj?rn mentioned in the last seminar, that you should have completed the ...
Dear All
Eleven Wonderful Wonder documents were handed in last week. Well done.
This Friday, we will be in Store Aud from 10:15 to 12:00, as the Java Room is not available for us.
Each group will present their projects for 4 minutes, followed by 4 minutes of discussion/comments/feedback from the other groups.
If you want to upload a presentation to Vortex, this will make the transition between the groups smooth;).
We look forward to listening, learn and commenting on your projects.
Asbj?rn, Jo and Eirik
Hi everyone!
The deadline for the peer reviews module 1 has been moved to 25.09.25 due to the design master cabin trip next week. On Monday I’ll publish a document with an overview of who will review whose work. When you’ve been assigned a person to review, you’ll simply open their assignment in their respective “deliveries” folder and send your feedback to them by mail.
Send me an email if you have any questions.
Hey everyone!
Hope that everyone has found a group and have an idea of what your project will be! What i need from you is to send me an email (eirikoa@uio.no) with a group name and group members. Each group will then get an own folder under the groups folder in the course page. In each group folder, there will be a deliveries folder where you will upload both individual and group assignments. Please make sure to name these clearly, for example: "group1-eirik-andersen-iteration-1" for the individual assignment and "group1-group-assignment-iteration-1" for the group assignment.
This naming system makes it easier for everyone to access each other’s submissions during peer reviews.
If you have any questions, send me an email: eirikoa.uio.no.
Hey everyone!
Some of you have asked about the deadlines for the assignments, and I understand it can be a bit unclear in the task PDFs. To make it easier, I’ve created a folder on the course page with the deadlines for each module. You’ll also find them in the course calendar.
Welcome to the course IN 5620 Interaction with AI and Autonomous Systems.
We are excited to see you on August 22nd in the Java seminar room.
Please have a look at previous editions of this course; it goes back a few years with another code: IN5480.
