Welcome!
Hi everyone, and welcome to this course in health data and decision-making! We look forward to meeting you all and discussing health data with you this spring.
The first lecture is Tuesday, January 23. Until then, here is a bit of information:
Lectures
Lectures are on Mondays 10.15-12.00. There will not be lectures in the winter holiday (Feb. 20.) or during the Easter holidays.
Please check out the list of lectures on the course pages for more information. This is almost finalized, but we will add details by the beginning of January.
Syllabus
The final syllabus will be published on the course pages in the beginning of January. If a paper/book is not available through the syllabus page in Leganto, we will share the pdf during class.
Obligatory assignments
There will be three group-based obligatory assignments in the course. Information about them will come in the beginning of the course.
Group sessions
The group sessions will be used for two activities: (1) Work individually and in groups on the assignments. (2) Present group assignments.
We will not use all the group sessions in the schedule, but please book them for now, and details will come by the first lecture
Exam
The exam will be a three-day home exam. Dates will be updated in January, but you can expect it to be during the first two weeks of may.
