Hi all!

The compendum is finally available. You have to log in at:

https://trykkeriet.uio.no and then click your way via Students/PhD candidates -> Compendiums -> Spring 2025 -> Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences -> Department of Informatics

They have printed it in two parts. Part I is 104,40 nok and Part II is 113,20 nok. Order it ASAP so you can start reading the Introduction. The first two articles you will need to read for the meeting on February 11.

Welcome to Design, Technology, Society!

The first meeting is on February 4th. The first meeting is always mandatory and don't forget that there is a mandatory participation of 80% in the course. There will be a compendium for the course with 26 articles and chapters and an introduction written by me. The compendium can be ordered from the UiO print shop. I will write a new message here once it becomes available (somewhere in January).

In the course we use pen and paper to write lecture notes. You can use your laptops or other digital devices for all other assignments. Why? That is explained here and is also confirmed by recent NTNU research from 2024.
