We have now published the Answers and grading guidelines for the spring 2020 exam.
A record number of students took the exam this semester: 33 candidates in IN3060, and another 24 in IN4060.
Since the exam was only graded as pass/fail this year, we were not as rigorous with counting credits as we typically are in other years. The pass/fail mark was at around 30 marks, and all students who passed were well over that number, so we feel confident that they deserved to pass.
In fact, we were really happy and proud to see how many of you put a considerable effort into writing a good exam, and not only one that will allow you to pass. We didn't think much about the grade intervals of course, but in a normal year this exam would have given approximately 20 Cs, 15 Bs, and 12 As. One of the IN40...
Exercise 3d mention :_x and :_y. These are supposed to be blank nodes, and it should have been _:x and _:y.
There should be a data property hasBudget that you can use to solve exercise 4g.
Hi all! Your 1 week of home exam has now started, and we wish you good luck!
The preferred ?single point of contact? for all questions related to the exam this spring is here. We might also answer questions we get on other channels.
To ensure that everybody gets the same information, we made an exam question webpage where we will publish all questions and answers.
There will be no virtual "tr?sterunde" on Zoom, since this has proven to be rather ineffective, in particular for students who can’t attend the Zoom meeting.
On the Q&A webpage we also give a link to the question set as one single PDF that you can download.
Here is the exam from 2010: Exam and its ...

As you will have read in other announcements, the exam for IN3060/IN4070 will be a written home exam.
It will be graded as passed or failed.
The exam will start on 5 June, and you will have 7 days.
In previous years, it was allowed to bring any written or printed material to the exam. Obviously, this will also be the case this year.
More details will come later in the semester.

This week's lecture is now available on the schedule page.
The group session will be held on Zoom. Follow this link to join the Zoom meeting:
Today's lecture is posted as slides and screencasts. We have split the recording into topics. Please see the schedule page.
Here’s a 1 hour video on RDFS interpretations, including an explanation of the book chapter, as well as a worked example. Sorry about the amateurish audio and video quality, the better equipment is locked inside the ifi building.
Exercise 3.2 in has the text ?To easily identify what parts are relevant, see this copy of chapter 3.2.? In the PDF, the words ?this copy? are a hyperlink to a scan of that chapter, but that is easy to miss. So, here is the link to those scanned pages, with those part marked in red that you don’t need to take into account for this oblig.

As you have been informed, teaching is suspended this week.
We have decided on the following changes to the plan:
- This week’s lecture is cancelled
- The repetition lecture at the end of the semester is cancelled (few students were interested in this in previous years anyway)
- The other lectures are shifted by one week (except for the OTTR ones which remain where they are)
- The deadline for oblig 5 (Semantics) is postponed by one week until 27 March
We have not quite decided what to do about oblig 6 and 7. We’ll keep you informed.
We promised a recording concerning the IN4060 version of the RDFS semantics. We will try to produce this but haven’t managed so far.
We have not decided at this point how the gruppetime on Fridays will be held.
As you have been informed, there will be no teaching activities at ifi.
Instead of the gruppetime, please ask questions on Piazza, or by mail.
We will prepare a video presentation of the RDF semantics (required for the additional assignment in IN4060).
To reduce the risk of spreading infections, also IN3060 and IN4060 will be held without physical lecture for the next weeks.
We will upload screencasts to the semester page. Some of these may be taken from previous years if the content is unchanged.
Please use Piazza for asking questions.
We have not yet decided how to deal with the tutorials in this course (gruppetimer) but we will let you know.
