Welcome to MBV4020. If you have any questions, just contact me: Hans-Petter (h.p.hersleth@imbv.uio.no). The course is a bit reorganised since previous years, so there will not be any midterm exam, only the final one at 5th of November. The course have normally program from 8 or 9 until 16 or 16.30. The main topics of the course will be: 1) Chromatography and purification; 2) Then protein expression, purification, crystallisation, solving a structure with protein crystallography and also characterise it with spectroscopy; 3) Protein NMR, 4) Proteomics and 2D gels; 5) Proteomics and Mass spectrometry; 6) Western blott.
