You have to prepare and work with a given theme, and make an oral presentation during the excursion/field course. After the excursion/field course, a written, extensive essay must be submitted. Destination and date of the excursion/field course will vary. Duration of excursion/field course will normally be 5-10 days.
Learning outcome
After completing this course, the student
- Has insight into field-based themes within geosciences, with focus on physical geography and hydrology
- Can apply geosciences in practice
Admission
Students who are admitted to study programmes at UiO must each semester register which courses and exams they wish to sign up for in Studentweb.
If you are not already enrolled as a student at UiO, please see our information about admission requirements and procedures.
