GEG2220 – Management and presentation of geodata
Course description
Course content
Practical exercises in data capture and processing of data from surveying and photogrammetry. How to design, store and structure map data in geodatabases. Digital terrain models.
Learning outcome
The course gives insight into practical methods for geo referencing and the work flow from observations to final map data. The students shall be trained in performing surveying measurements on their own as well as compiling terrain models in photogrammetry

GEG2210+GEG2220 overlaps completely against GG219.
Teaching
The course is given with some lectures and practical and theoretical exercises. Compulsory exercises.
Examination
Written assignments (counts ca 50%) and final oral exam (counts ca 50%). Letter grades (A-F)
