The plan for the remaining lectures has been updated, see here.
The lecture notes can be found here. An updated version containing the last chapter on transient upper ocean flows and oceanic drift will be uploaded in a week or two.
Dear All,
Here are some notes you can look at in preparation for the next two classes. I'll meet you a few minutes past 12:00 next Wednesday.

Dear All,
Next Wednesday we will meet at the reception in the Science Park at 12:15, i.e. a bit later than we agreed on during the first lecture.
We will be discussing dimensional analysis, have a look in my notes. We will work through a few other examples in class, hence I recommend that you work your way through the examples in the notes on your own as these will only be briefly covered.
/Kai
We will have the lectures at the MET Norway offices in 澳门葡京手机版app下载sparken, see this map: https://g.page/澳门葡京手机版app下载sparken?share
I will meet you in the main reception area so please make sure that you arrive on time well before 12.15! Please also send me an email to confirm that you have received this message.
Lecture notes will be published on the course homepage. For the first lecture you will not need to prepare anything.
/Kai
Attendance at the first lecture is compulsory. This also applies to students, at the waiting list for the course. Students who fail to meet, are considered to have withdrawn from the course unless they have previously given notice to the Student administration (studieinfo@geo.uio.no).
