Hi
We are now ready to start up the course in Weather Systems.
There will a series of lectures from scientists at met.no, starting 4. October.
Before that, we will start the course by running small groups based on self-study and presentations/discussions following chapter 8 in the textbook by Wallace and Hobbs (the one that is used for GEF2200).
On next Monday (17.9, kl. 14:15) in pausearealet at Metos we will inform about the course schedule and content, and organize the groups for the first two weeks.
Terje
The course will not start according to the plan given in the schedule.
The course will be given, but only to master students at the meteorology and oceanography programme.
Students should prepare for the course by reading chapter 8 "Weather Systems" in Atmospheric Science - An introductory Survey by Wallace & Hobbs.
More information about the revised schedule will be given in week 35
Due to illness, this course is only offered to master students in the Meteorology and oceanography study option autumn 2018.
Attendance at the first lecture is compulsory. Students who fail to meet, are considered to have withdrawn from the course unless they have previously given notice to the Study administration, E-mail address: studieinfo@geo.uio.no
