Week 46 Hampson-Russel lab: Monday Nov. 13 at 12.15-14 (Visionary): Introduction to Hampson-Russel software by Nazmul Haque Mondol. Thursday Nov. 16: computer lab from 10-14.
Intensive lectures in rock physics by prof. Tor Arne Johansen, Univ. of Bergen: Thursday Nov. 2nd: 9.15 - 11 and 12.15 - 14 (both times in the Visionary), Friday Nov. 3rd: 10.15 - 12 (Visionary) and 13.15 - 15 (Auditorium I).
RESERVOIR SIMULATOR: Mandatory reading is complete module except sublevels in 3.5.
FLUID FLOW IN POROUS MEDIA: Mandatory reading is Chapter 1 and Sections 2.1 and 2.2.
SEISMIC ATTRIBUTES: Mandatory reading is complete module.
ELASTIC WAVES: Mandatory reading is complete module (but no sublevels!)
ADVANCED SEISMIC PROCESSING: Mandatory reading is chapter 3 and 4. Basic knowledge about post-stack migration is assumed (can be found in Chapter 1, you do not need to read sublevels).
Prior knowledge about seismic data acquisition and basic seismic processing is assumed. However, the first week of the course will give a brief review of major concepts.
First lecture Monday September 4th at 12.15pm in the Visionary.
