Note that there is a new location in week 10: IT-Auditorium 3 in Vilhelm Bjerknes' hus.

Today, we have handed out the first obligatory exercise. For those of you who were not present, you can either download the exercise from fronter or drop by my office (room 203, next to the IT-lab) and get a copy. The deadline for delivery is set to Friday February 17. Please scan your final interpretation to a pdf-file and deliver it electronically in fronter. A delivery folder will be available.

Next week, Jan Inge Faleide will introduce you to the concepts of 3D seismic interpretation on Thursday, February 9. The lecture on Friday is canceled. You can use that time to work on your obligatory assignment.

During the lectures, we often do practical exercises on paper using color pencils. Please bring your own color pencils.

Attendance at the first lecture is compulsory. Students who fail to meet, are considered to have withdrawn from the course unless they have previously given notice to the Studies administration, E-mail address: studieinfo@geo.uio.no.
