MID-TERM MEETING
I would like to call in for a mid-term meeting to see the progress in the 3D Seismic Interpretation Project. I suggest a short meeting on Friday, May 13 from 16:00-17:00. By then, you should have interpreted at least one or two horizons and got the feeling of how GeoFrame/Charisma works.
I also advice you to start writing parts of your report as soon as possible.
The deadline for report delivery is set to Sunday, May 29th, 24:00.

GEO4240: GeoFrame Problems
Friday afternoon, we have experienced problems with the database that stores the data for the GeoFrame projects.
This implies that GeoFrame users cannot access their projects.
We are working on the problem and hope to have fixed the problem as soon as possible.
Michel
GEO4240: GeoFrame OK!
According to our system manager, GeoFrame should be up and running again. Try it out and let me know whether there still are problems

Seminar
Since we only are 8 students we will be able to have all presentations on one day. I suggest we use Tuesday April 26.
The schedule for the seminar is here or you can click `schedule? in the meny on the left side of this page.
Start 3D Seismic Interpretation Project
Tuesday 26.4.05 we will start the 3D interpretation project. To start, you will first interpret a regional 2D seismic line which crosses through your 3D seismic survey. This exercise will give you a good overview of the regional strcutural and (perhaps) stratigraphic evolution. The project description and guidlines for the report are now available from Classfronter and the Course-site
GEO4240: Project Groups
Please inform me as soon as possible about who will work together and which type of project you want to do, structural or stratigraphic. You will find a list on my door, room 210.
I need to know this before Tuesday, 26.4, to be able to generate the 3D seismic projects in GeoFrame.
