Effective, safe, and dignified dead body management (DBM) in the context of disasters, atrocities, and wars is an important task for the humanitarian sector, but increasingly also for the human rights community. In the context of the accelerating digitization of global governance, this lecture explores the notion of “digital dead body management” (DDBM) in human rights research.
