Syllabus

The syllabus of the course is covered to an acceptable extent by the book and papers listed below. Actually buying the book should not be considered obligatory (but it's a good book); we will provide lecture notes that should suffice for the oral exam.

Harald J. W. Müller-Kirsten, Armin Wiedemann: Introduction to Supersymmetry, 2010. World Scientific. ISBN: 981-4293-42-3. Second Edition. The book can also be found in the library (first edition) for consultation.

Stephen P. Martin: A Supersymmetry primer, http://arxiv.org/abs/hep-ph/9709356.

Fernando Quevedo, Sven Krippendorf, Oliver Schlotterer: Cambridge Lectures on Supersymmetry and Extra Dimensions, http://arxiv.org/abs/1011.1491.

Last years version of the lecture notes. These will be updated on a roughly weekly basis throughout the lecture series.

Dates for the mandatory home-exam (FYS5190) / research project (FYS9190) will be agreed upon between the students and the lecturer during the course in order to avoid collisions with assignments in other subjects.
