A note on the Dirac equation and a Guide to reading are now available on this Web-page

The relevant textbook for the course is: F.Mandl and G. Shaw: "Quantum Field Theory". The subject for the first "double) lecture will be: Relativistic wave equations,- and specially: The Dirac equation. The next subject will then be Lagrangian formalism for fields.

The first two weeks ; 22-31. august there will be 6 lectures (3 double hours) a week (i.e monday,thursday and wednesday). This will be compensated by more exercises later in the semester.
