Welcome to FYS4160 !

The course starts on Tuesday, January 18, with an introductory lecture -- mostly explaining how the course is set up, its 'rules' and what will be covered. As it was just decided the semester will once again start digital. We will thus meet at 10:15 am on zoom, and the link for that will stay the same until the end of January (after which we will hopefully be back to physical teaching).

One of the things to be discussed -- and possibly decided -- on Tuesday is how to deal with the timing of lectures and exercises proposed by the system; now on Tuesday there will in any case not be four consecutive hours. 

In either case, please make sure to fresh up your knowledge from previous courses before starting this one.
