Good luck to you all at the final exam.
The quantum mechanical project has been updated, see last exercise (f).
New versions of the solar system and quantum mechanical projects are now available. They include now exercises which can add up to a 30% additional score.
Project 5 is now available. There are three different versions, one for the solar system (ordinary differential equations), one for quantum mechanical studies of atoms (helium and beryllium) and finally a diffusion equation (PDE) problem from biophysics. You should choose among one of these. The deadline is December 12.
Project 4 is available under the project link.
Project 3 is now available under the project link. You will also need the function gauss_laguerre.cpp in order to compute weights and integration points.
The exam date has now been settled by the administration. December 13 is the day! Else, on Monday 26/9 I placed the wrong version of the slides at the webpage. I apologize that. It is corrected now.

Unfortunately the exam information is displayed in three different ways. The correct evaluation form is
1) One project which is graded and counts 50% of the final mark 2) A final written exam (duration 4h) which also counts 50%.
The legally correct evaluation form is written in Norwegian under the link http://www.uio.no/studier/emner/matnat/fys/FYS3150/
The information in English and under other exam links will corrected in due time by the administration at our Faculty.
