Please see weekly schedule for details on remaining lectures and problem sessions.
Finally, here are the results from your home exam. This, combined with the written exam in June, will determine your final grade.
You can find a solution of the home exam on the usual page of weekly problems. (A large fraction of you will notice that you did several of the calculations in much too complicated ways ;) ). We will still need some days after Easter to finish correcting. Happy Easter!
The problem set for your home exam can be found here. Good luck!
Please see the weekly schedule ("Timeplan") for details on the home exam, deadlines, and schedule changes during and after the home exam.
The exam problems will be made available this coming Friday (28th) around 4pm.

Those who wish to do additional problems on top of the hand-in sets, are encouraged to work on problems from the relevant sections in the book. For many of them the answer is given in the back.
We have received a hand-in (problem set 2) with no name. Please contact Marius if you think it might be yours. It will not be returned to the front office until we know the owner :)
No lecture Friday Feb 7th. Problem session moved to 10:15-12, in room ?443!
Due to the unfortunate cancellations last week, there will be three lectures this week (Wed 10-12, Fri 10-12 and Fri 14-16, all in room 467). The deadline for problem set 2 is shifted by a week, to Feb 10th, and the problem session for set 2 will take place next week (Feb 7th).
Due to illness, the lecture tomorrow is cancelled. The same goes for the afternoon session, since the problem session already took place on Wednesday. Everything is hopefully back on track next week. :)
The following students have been selected for the contact group:
Jessica Louise Werner (jeh_louisew@hotmail.com)
Magnus Holm (judofyr@gmail.com)
Kristian Bj?rke (kbjorke@gmail.com)
They will be interacting with the course teachers throughout the semester. Feel free to approach them.
The course will be taught in English due to the presence of international exchange students. Thus the plan is to provide exam problems (home exam as well as final exam) in English only. Of course you may write your answers in Norwegian. Any serious objections to this should be raised by contacting the lecturer by Feb 1st, 2014.
