Most submitted solutions to mandatory assignment 2, for students with surnames L - ? have now been corrected, and you can pick them up at room 144. Solutions still missing from the out-box can be assumed to be approved.
Students in the second half of the alphabet who did not obtain the evaluation "approved", should correct as much as they are able to, based on hints and guidelines from the group teacher, and visit the problem solving group on Wednesday, 28/11, at 08.15, for approval of their second attempt.

n er antall mol t?rr luft (de vanlige diatomige gassene i lufta) og er konstant. Vi antar at n >> n_w gjennom hele oppgave 1, slik at bl.a. totaltrykket er fullstendig dominert av denne komponenten.
Extra clarification of part 1c) in the latest set of mandatory problems:
n is the number of moles of dry air (the usual diatomic gases in the air) and is constant. We assume that n >> n_w throughout Problem 1, implying that the total pressure (among other things) is completely dominated by this component.

Forvarsel: Oppgavesettet for midttermseksamen (hjemmeeksamen) vil bli lagt ut fredag 5. oktober. Innleveringsfrist planlegges satt til mandag 22. oktober (god tid beregnes grunnet kollisjon med andre midttermseksamener og med lab?velser).
Early warning: The set of problems for the midterm exam (home exam) will be made available on Friday, October 5. Deadline for submission will be Monday, October 22 (plenty of time given, due to collisions with other midterm exams and with lab exercises).
Lab?velsene i FYS2160 blir arrangert i uke 42 (15. - 19. okt.) og uke 43 (22. - 26. okt.). Sted: Rom FV225.
Det blir 3 labgrupper, som hver har plass til inntil 24 studenter. De respektive tidspunktene er:

The lab exercises in FYS2160 will be organized during the weeks 42 (Oct. 15 - 19) and 43 (Oct. 22 - 26), in room FV225.
There will be 3 lab groups, each accommodating up to 24 students. The respective times are:

Forelesningen onsdag 26. september (10.15 - 12) er avlyst grunnet kolliderende arrangement i auditoriet.
Regneverksted torsdag 27. september (16.15 - 18) er ogs? avlyst.
The lecture on Wednesday, September 26 (10.15 - 12) is cancelled due to a colliding event in the auditorium.
The problem solving group on Thursday, September 27 (16.15 - 18) is also cancelled.
Noen praktiske opplysninger:
Kurset omfatter 2 obligatoriske lab?velser, som skal gj?res i uke 42 og 43. Labdager / tider blir mest sannsynlig mandag, tirsdag og onsdag 13 - 17.
Det blir midttermseksamen (hjemmeeksamen) rundt uke 41.
I tillegg blir det 2 obliger, i september og november.

Some pieces of practical information:
The course includes 2 mandatory lab exercises, which should be done in weeks 42 and 43. Lab days / times will most likely be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 13 - 17.
There will be a midterm exam (home exam) around week 41.
In addition, there will be two mandatory sets of problems, in September and November.
More detailed information will appear when ready.
Gruppeundervisningen i FYS2160 begynner f?rst neste uke (uke 35).
The FYS2160 problem solving groups will start only next week (week 35).
