Graders for the 4-hour examination was B?rd Anders Andreassen and Lars P. Soltvedt. Students may contact B?rd Andreassen order in to have the result and/or grounds for the grade (NB! the total grade, not the separate exams). Candidates can send an e-mail or phone. Students must ask for grounds and/or grading result within one week after the posting of the grading result. All students have passed part I (midterm-essay),but comments etc. will be given in Fronter later.
Important Information regarding the 4 hour written exam
1.Please note that you may only bring an ordinary dictionary (The dictionary/(ies) should just provide the ordinary meaning and exemplify the use of the word, and not give further information. This will typically be the case with, e.g., an English –English dictionary or a dictionary from one’s mother language to English and vice- versa.)
2.Copies of the following conventions ( International Bill of Rights) will be distributed on the day of examination: (you are NOT allowed to bring your own copies of the concenventions mentioned below, or any other conventions)
- CESCR + optional protocol
- CCPR
- UDHR
Result on the paper
The result on the paper will be available in Fronter from 15 December.

The seminar will be held in the seminar room room NCHR- 10.15- 12.00- 19 October (not in Domus Nova)- and the semianr room next week too.
re Mid-term essay 10 October
Due to special circumstances the text for the exam question is delayed. The question will be publised as soon as possible. The exam question was published 15.30 10 October.
Mid-term essay 10 October- 14 November
The text for the mid-term essay will be announced on Monday 10 October at 12:00 am, and the deadline for submission is Monday 14 November at 12:00, in Fronter.

Orientation about the 4hour exam
An introductory course in answering exam questions will be held by Prof. Ola Mestad September 23, 12:15-14:00, Aud 4, DA. A booklet with examples of previous exam papers will be distributed at the meeting. All examination papers, a mix of papers given in Norwegian and English, are also available at http://www.jus.uio.no/studier/eksamen/tidligere-eksamen/master/
