For those of you who were not present today (explanation to the mock exam): you may collect your corrected mock exam at the Info Centre, DA.
Maria Lundberg is postponing her explanation to the mock exam to Friday 28 November, from 14:15 - ca 15:30, in auditorium 6, DA. (previously announced for Wednesday 26 November, which is now being cancelled).
(1) Please find the mock exam posted on left side. To be handed in within 21 November at the Information Centre.
(2) Handouts from Maria's lectures on the Right to Life (lecture 3 ) and Security and Liberty of Persons (extra lecture 14 November) are now posted.
(1) There will be an extra seminar today with Professor Mads Anden?s. He will speak about 'Reservations, Limitations, and Derogations', a follow-up on Maria's lecture from today.
Time: 13:15 - ca. 14:00. Venue: Auditorium 6, DA
(2) In the beginning of next week Professor emeritus Asbj?rn Eide will conduct a seminar with the following title: 'Minority, Indiginous people and cultural rights'. The seminar will be a follow-up on Maria's lecture from yesterday 12 November.

Maria will give an additional lecture on Friday 14 November, from 10:15-12, in auditorium 6 (DA).
It is a following-up lecture on Liberty of security of persons. Cases for discussion: Singh and Chahal.
Mock examMaria will give explanations to the mock exam on Wednesday 26 November, from 10:15-12, in auditorium 6 (DA).

On her lecture on Wednesday 12 November (on Minory Rights), Maria will talk about the following three cases:

Professor Stein Evju will hold an information meeting about the auxiliary material (In Norwegian: tillatte hjelpemidler under eksamen) allowed during the exam + other questions related to the upcoming exams.

Note! If you bring into the examination room other material than allowed, the material can be confiscated during your exam! It is therefore important that you know what is allowed during the exams.

Monday lecture on Political Rights with Maria:
Maria will discuss the following three cases on Monday:

Copies of the cases are available at the Info Centre, DA. They will shortly be available on the course webpage under 'Supplemental Materials for Lectures'.
There will also be a mock exam in HUMR5120. The text for the mock exam will be published on Friday 14 November. Deadline for handing in the mock exam is Friday 21 November at the Info Centre, Domus Academica building (DA).
The mock exam is optional. We strongly recommend you to hand it in; this is the only occasion you have this semester to test your ability in how to write exam papers in law.
We have run out of copies of the Leirv?g case. We will make copies available during Friday. It is also now available as an MS Word document to the left under Supplemental Material.

Maria Lundberg's lecture scheduled for 10 November was set up in Auditorium 5 - it has now been moved to auditorium 14, Domus Bibliotheca.
Copies of 6 cases are now available in the Info Centre (unfortunately, they are not collected in a compilation, but they are made as separate documents). The cases are:

Due to cancellation of Maria Lundberg's lecture on Political Rights yesterday, the lecture is rescheduled to Monday 10 November, 10:15-12:00. Location: Auditorium 5.

The lecture on Friday will go as scheduled.
The topic of Lecture 1 will be "Equality before the Law and the Right to a Fair Trial." The reading will be Rhona Smith, pp. 235-253, which is posted to the left under 'Required Reading for Lectures.' The instructor will be Richard Hustad.
