No class tomorrow ? As no seminar presentations are scheduled for tomorrow, March 23, class will be postponed till Thursday April 15 (exact time/room later). Have a nice Easter break, and we will meet again on Tuesday April 13. -arvid.
Assignment # 4 ? In a couple of days I am sending an email of the assignment #4 text directely to those of you who have an approved project for the final essay. If you do not receive an email from me, and you think I have overlooked your proposal or an email, send me an email asap. –arvid.
ESSAY PROPOSALS, SEMINARS ? Individual replys are sent to each proposal. In general, proposals were accepted. BUT, I still feel there ought to be more proposals. The numbers do not add up.
Seminar presentations: I need an e-mail (ASAP) from each of you with a proposed date and a few words on your topic. Normally we will have 4 presentations every week (max 15 min talk/demo, + time for discussions). First come, first served... -arvid.

Listening material will be found at the library and in Vollsnes, A.O.: Norsk musikkhistorie vol. 1–5. (Reserved at the reading room at Sophus Lies hus, on loan from the HUMSAM library.) More material will also be available at a special server.
