First Short Paper¡ªContent analysis

Choose a research question that can be answered using quantitative content analysis. You shall provide a short description of how you understand the RQ, and then why it is appropriate to explore it by using content analysis. Provide a short reflection on the proposed sample for your study. Then construct a code book for a short content analysis, based on the course literature

3-4 pages. Paper is due on Wednesday, October 28. Hand in on paper in class. Make sure to have a front page with your name and title of the course.

For the qualification assignment you have to formulate a qualitative research outline and make an interview-guide. The overall topic for the assignment is journalism and social media:

• Formulate the purpose of the study
• Make a research question that narrows down the topic 
• Outline who you want to interview and why
• Make a semi-structured interview guide

The assignment should be maximum 3 pages, including the interview guide.

The assignment should be handed in via Fronter by the 24th of September. We will use the seminar on the 23rd of September to work on the assignment.
