It begins with short presentations and then opens floor for discussion of following questions:

• Why is there a growing international interest in studying and researching Chinese media?

• How does media change Chinese studies, and how does China change media studies?

• The issues and questions you find most interesting in the area of China media studies

• The future of China media studies
