Seminar Activity Description
Reading material: Students should read in advance and prepare for the seminars. They should follow the recommend literature on the course, and can supplements their reading list with additional material.
Presentation: The presentation may take a variety of formats. Students are encouraged to be creative. They can use any of the following: Videos, Multimedia presentations, Panel discussions
Discussion: Following individual or group presentations, the Seminar leader will facilitate a discussion of the issues raised in the presentation. The discussion should involve all students and deal with the theoretical aspects of the issues.
Student-run seminars: Students form groups of around 4 members. Each group will conduct a 40 minute seminar. Student run seminars consist of: Presentation of group assignment / project, Guided discussion of presentation, Seminar leaders drawn from the class.
