My guest lecture on historical syntax will take place in seminar room 101, Harriet Holters hus, Friday, 13 April, 12.15-14. See you then. Kristin
Your lecturer for the rest of the term will be Gjertrud Stenbrenden. In other words, teaching resumes on Friday as planned, and Friday is also the deadline for submitting the qualifying paper.
EXAM DATE: 30 May seems to be a difficult date for a number of people, so we'll keep 23 May as the exam date. We'll have to schedule extra lectures for you, so that we cover the pensum before the exam.
IMPORTANT: It turns out that although we have avoided exam collisions when deciding on a new date for the exam, the new date is not convenient for everybody, since at least one person has exams on 29 and 31 May as well. I would like to know whether the rest of you prefer to keep the old exam date, which is 23 May, or whether you prefer to have the exam on 30 May. Please send me an email message about this as soon as possible. If I don't hear from you, I'll presume that either date is ok. Kristin (kristin.bech@ilos.uio.no).
I will be available for questions in connection with the qualifying papers at the following times: 8 March 10-12, and 13 March 13-15. My office is at NT, room 932.
There is now a two-week study break. The next lecture will be on 23 March, which is also the deadline for submitting the qualifying paper. The qualifying paper is obligatory.

There will be an extra lecture on Thursday, 1 March, 18.15-20, room 124, Harriet Holters hus. We will also meet for the regular lecture on Friday, 2 March. There is no lecture on Friday, 23 February.
