We expect the results to be in from the external examiner on Friday afternoon, November 8. Please check your e-mails and Canvas then.

Due to illness, the lecture on Religion in Norway scheduled for Monday, November 4, is cancelled. The lecturer has provided us with the power point presentation he had prepared for the lecture, and this is posted on Canvas as well as on the semester website for NORINT0500.

As announced in the semester plan (Lecture series, autumn semester 2019), there will be no lecture this coming Monday, October 14, as students are expected to be working on their mandatory qualifying assignments.

There has been some confusion regarding the course textbook (Maager? & Simonsen: Norway: Society and Culture).

We have asked you to buy the 2008 edition, but the edition now for sale in the Akademika bookstore is marked "2. edition, 5th print 2019" and "Revised edition will be published in 2019". We have just been informed by the publishing house that this latest version is identical to the 2008 version, and that an actually reversed version will not come out until the end of this year. So whether you have got ahold of a copy of the old 2008 version or you have bought the "2. edition, 5th print 2019" version, you have the right book, as they are one and the same!
