All submissions are in Canvas, and are to be submitted by 11.00 am.
Take notice ?that these are the deadlines for the preliminary submissions, i.e. your drafts papers only. The final papers will be submitted as a portfolio submission on 29 November 2018. In order to be allowed to make the final portfolio submission, you need to have your course instructor approve your preliminary drafts.
Class presentation:
For the theory seminars, students will prepare an essay. A draft version of this essay is to be presented in class during the theory seminars. The presentation should not exceed 12-15 minutes, and a powerpoint presentation and notes should be made available to the class (in Canvas) the day before the presentation.
Deadline for presentation will be decided in class.
The porfolio submission consists of five assignments:
- Essay on a given subject from the theory seminars, i.e. the first part of the course.
Length: 3-4 pages.
- Essay on a given subject from the module: Text and discourse analysis
Length: 4-5 pages. - Submission from a module of your choice.
Length 4-5 pages. - Submission from a module of your choice.
Length 4-5 pages. - Project description:
5 pages, excluding front page and bibliography & list of sources. Endnote is preferred for references.
Deadline for submission: 29 November in final portfolio submission.
The required length of the essays given above refers to the main text, i.e. not counting the front page and the bibliography.
The submissions have to meet academic standards with introduction of topic for discussion, main part with discussion and conclusion. Submissions should meet format standards regarding references.
