The term paper must be uploaded as one pdf file in Inspera within the given deadline.

The paper should be approx. 10 pages long (2300 characters per page excluding spaces), not counting the front page and bibliography.

Follow the format guidelines stated by the Department.

Your candidate number is available in Studentweb. Remember to write your candidate number on the front page and on top of every page using header in Word. Do not write your name anywhere on the paper!

Very unfortunately, I have to cancell our class on Wednesday, April 11, 10.15 to 12.00 on account of a force majeure situation (airplane delay and lost connection) We will check whether it may be possible to re-schedule this class. The compulsory first draft of the essay is to be submitted by MARCH 20, 11.00 (preferably electronically, through Fronter). The topic is to be approved by the teacher beforehand, in the beginning of the semester. First draft is expected to include the title, subtitle, detailed plan of the essay (with at least 2-3 sentences on the content of each part of the essay) and literature list, and to be approximately 1-2 pages long.

Dear students on the master's programmes in "Chinese Society and Politics" and "East Asian Culture and History".

We are pleased to inform you about our new and exciting exchange programme with Zhejiang University (ZJU). Due to a new form of research and teaching cooperation with ZJU we can offer up to five students a unique chance to go on exchange to ZJU from September 2018 to January 2019.

There will be an information meeting about the exchange programme on Monday January 15 at seminar room 15 in P. A. Munchs building, from 14.15-15.45.
