Sentrale temaer er objektivitet og rasjonalitet, realisme og antirealisme, epistemiske og sosiale verdier og normer i vitenskapelig virksomhet, organisering og styring av vitenskap, vitenskap og demokrati. Det blir lagt vekt p? sammenhengen mellom klassiske vitenskapsfilosofiske problemer og aktuelle vitenskapspolitiske sp?rsm?l.
