fourMs at VERDIKT

fourMs-researchers were heavily present at the annual VERDIKT conference yesterday. In addition to a lecture and poster presentations, we also contributed a performance with the iPhone ensemble and a motion capture performance. More info below.

 

 

Presentations:

  • Alexander Refsum Jensenius & Rolf Inge God?y: Input technologies for music-related actions
  • Kristian Nymoen: Motion Capture: Motion Analysis and Musical Instrument
  • St?le A. Skogstad & Yago de Quay: Using Full Body Motion Capture Data as Input for Musical Sound Generation (Winner of best poster!)

Performances:

  • iPhone ensemble: Bloom & Scrambler. (Performers: Alexander R. Jensenius, Anders Tveit, Kristian Nymoen, Arve Voldsund and Viet Phi Uy Hoang)
  • Yago De Quay & St?le Skogstad: Dance Jockey. A dance and music piece using the Xsens MVN motion capture suit.
